WORK SAMPLES

I’ve supported clients across industries to meet their research and communication goals.

National Academy of Medicine

Audience: Stakeholders in healthcare (i.e., clinicians, educators, students, frontline community organizations) and consumers

  • Analyzed data from a mixed method study on perceptions of decarbonization and climate resilience. Data included 5 stakeholder focus groups and 250 survey responses from consumers and stakeholders.

  • Developed in-depth report, executive summary, and verbal briefings for NAM’s Action Collaborative leadership.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

  • Designed and led an exploratory study on the knowledge, attitudes, and experiences of student loan borrowers. Methods included 20+ in-depth interviews across 5 markets.

  • Led a belief elicitation study, based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, to inform the redesign of CFPB’s annual awareness survey. Methods included focus groups and cognitive interviews across 2 markets.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

Audience: Older adults aging into Medicare eligibility

  • Designed and led a 6-month consumer journey map study to identify the mental models of adults aging into Medicare. Methods included longitudinal interviews, diary entries, and small focus groups with insurance counselors and Medicare customer service reps.

  • Applied findings to the development of 4 Medicare “coming of ager” personas and 2 journey maps.

American College Health Association

Audience: Young adult students and college communicators

  • Led multi-phase study to assess the need for COVID-19 prevention materials tailored for college audiences. Methods included literature review, environmental scan, national survey of college students, faculty, and staff (n=1,503), 9 focus groups with vaccine hesitant students, and 6 key informant interviews.

  • Translated findings from each round of research to inform the creative brand and message strategy for ACHA’s Vax Forward initiative.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Audience: Consumers in the general market

  • Led 2 quantitative copy tests to evaluate consumer perceptions of the health risks and benefits of taking specific heart medications after viewing their TV drug advertisements.

  • Results of these surveys were used to inform FDA’s regulatory actions and inform revised advertisements for the medications.

Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT

Audience: Healthcare providers and administrators

  • Conducted actor interviews and directed the development of 2 promotional videos to highlight data integration pilot projects with state-based prescription drug monitoring programs.

  • Each video highlighted the value of data exchange in reducing prescription drug misuse. See the story behind Indiana’s pilot study.

I love being part of a team — and my clients value that partnership.

I love working with Corinne! She brings methodological expertise and an attention to detail ensuring that projects are customized to her client’s needs. Corinne is also an incredibly empathetic moderator, always centering the people at the heart of her research. Over the years we’ve partnered on a number of research activities and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional researcher, moderator and storyteller.

Kinsey, Alan Newman Research

Corinne is an incredible partner. Over the course of a multi-year pandemic response project, I relied on Corinne to share her thoughtful, flexible, and evidence-based perspective to inform our COVID-19 communication work. Her extensive expertise in behavior change and communication strategy were only part of what makes working with Corinne so enjoyable. She was also a warm and confident presence throughout a prolonged, high-pressure situation. We could not have reached our audience as effectively as we did without Corinne.
